Samhain is often celebrated on October 31st, on the same day as the modern celebration of Halloween and the two festivals are often combined, so I am including both Halloween and Samhain celebrations on this list. However, Samhain and Halloween, while they have shared ancestry, are very different celebrations today. Many celebrate Samhain on the fixed date of November 1st or 2nd, and other celebrate when the sun is 15 degrees of Scorpio, November 7th. This year, many Pagans in Michigan are celebrating Samhain in many ways.
