Litha with Weavers of the Web
Join us for our Litha ritual, either in-person or online, as we celebrate the longest day of the year with fire, drums, storytelling, and transformation. You can come out in person, or if you are not comfortable you can join us via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87403265416?pwd=MUh5UExZSGc3aGFFRG5kTmthNGowQT09 or watch on our YouTube channel.
We will be meeting at the scout campground at Fenner Nature Center, 2020 E. Mount Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910. Gathering starts at 4pm, with the ritual starting at 5pm. We will not be having a potluck for this ritual, and we will only be staying on the site until 7pm. We are asking that everybody follow social distancing protocols with anybody not in your immediate household, and we will also insist that everybody wear masks (disposable masks will be available if needed). We will be providing basic ritual supplies in individual packaging. Please bring your own drums.
If you will be joining us online, you’ll want to have a paper plate cut into a mask, something to decorate it with (crayons, markers, other art supplies, whatever is handy), and your own cakes and ale. Lavender incense will enhance your experience if you have some.
While there is no cost to attend this event, donations to cover the cost of our site fee and supplies are greatly appreciated.
